Who’s in the Cast of The Sex Lives of College Girls?

The rumor are true. Timothée Chalamet’s sister does star on an HBO Max show. Pauline Chalamet (The King of Staten Island) plays Kimberly, a kind-hearted but sheltered student at Essex College. Her roommates include aspiring comedy writer Bela (Amrit Kaur), college athlete Whitney (Alyah Chanelle Scott), and rich queen bee Leighton (Reneé Rapp). This is Kaur’s first major TV role. However, Scott currently stars on Hulu’s Reboot, and Rapp is best known for her stage performances in Spring Awakening and Mean Girls.

How Did Season 1 of The Sex Lives of College Girls End?

We have a lot of plot to get through, so buckle up. Oh, by the way, spoilers ahead.

Kimberly made the biggest mistake possible last season. To pass one of her classes, she used the test bank from Nico’s (Gavin Leatherwood) fraternity. She was caught, and to save her own butt, she exposed the test bank to the administration. Ultimately, it worked. Kimberly was able to stay in school, but she lost the scholarship that made paying for this prestigious university possible. Also, this betrayal left Kimberly and her roommates on shaky grounds with the boys of Theta.

Speaking of mistakes, hey Whitney. She spent most of last season having an affair with her married coach. That relationship ended in news articles and flames, much to the disappointment of Whitney’s politician mother. In the end, Whitney’s team forgave her and she started a relationship with the far hotter Canaan (Chris Meyer). Good job on the upgrade, girl.

Leighton also had a relationship-heavy season. After confining her sexuality to flings with married women and moms, Leighton finally took the plunge and tried to have a real relationship. It didn’t last long. Alicia (Midori Francis) eventually dumped her because she didn’t want to follow Leighton back into the closet. That was certainly a blow, but it led to a very sweet moment. By Season 1’s end, Leighton came out to Kimberly.

That leaves Bela. After an entire season spent battling Essex’s comedy magazine, Bela finally gaveThe Catullan the middle finger. She officially left the publication and joined a group of defectors in creating their own women-led publication. If you can’t join them, beat them.
