Both Mandy Rose and Nikki Bella have responded to claims that the NXT Women’s Champion paid tribute to the latter on this week’s NXT.
For last night’s show, Rose wore a red and black outfit and marching baseball cap, which many fans saw as a nod to the Hall of Famer.
Taking to Twitter, Bella reacted with an emoji when the official WWE account called Rose a “Fearless” Champion.

In a tweet of her own, Rose seemingly denied this was a tribute, saying she was just promoting Toxic Attraction’s merchandise.

Rose defeated Alba Fyre in a Last Woman Standing match on NXT to retain her title, thanks to interference by Isla Dawn.
